Depending on the design and expression, each piece may undergo multiple firings in the kiln (oven). \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFirst, the clay arrives in large tubes and is then machine-cut into smaller pieces. These pieces are molded using a mold called \"biscuit\". Then the formed pieces undergo firing in a kiln at 1050 degrees for 9-10 hours, followed by a day of drying. Once dried, they are meticulously sponged by hand to achieve a smooth surface. After another day of drying, each piece is carefully hand-painted and glazed. They are then fired again in a kiln, this time at 1030 degrees for 9 hours.
